These designs were created for the character Don John in an interpretation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. I wanted to create a really large threatening silhouette for the character, as he is calculating and sly, seeking to destroy the happiness of Hero and Claudio. I was inspired by architecture, origami, avant-garde fashion. I decided to use a geometric cut work to make the character appear really sinister, as you cant see his face.
